I started to attend Liscarney House, Pearse Road, Sligo in Sept 21.
I was referred there by my GP as I was suffering from anxiety and was having panic attacks and was also not sleeping well.
From the moment I attended there I felt like I was made so welcome and given a cup of tea to help me relax. I was later seen by a nurse who took my history and then later that day by a doctor who gave me such a relaxed feeling and it felt like I was going to get the help I needed.
I attended two days a week for approx 2 months and had group meetings to deal with the anxiety and meeting the other patients and sharing problems. I also had a meeting with occupational therapy. I found the anxiety management was excellent and I am dealing with it well.
I am a different person and I am so happy I got such help and kindness shown to me at all times and I am finishing in a few weeks time and I can get back in touch at any time, but I feel great at the moment.
"I was made so welcome"
