"My Mothers Care"

My mother was living with illness due to hearth and lungs issues, we were put in contact with the palliative team in drogheda and they were the best help we could have asked for. They were always at the end of the phone and they called to Mammy when she needed them. They provided night nurse to give us as a family some well needed rest. As Mammy got closer to end of life they were there for her and us as a family. They answered all out questions and helped with medications to ensure she didn't have pain or discomfort which was all we asked for. They spoke to Mammy about any fears she had and were perfect with her. The day before my Mum passed one of the nurses called which she wasn't due as Mum was doing well and it was the weekend, but they called to see Mammy and me, they reassured Mammy and me. On the day that Mammy passed again one of the nurses called but Mammy had passed but she stayed with us and helped with mammy as Mum passed at home, she did what I couldn't and for that I will always be thankful for. 

I can't say enough good things about the whole team that worked with Mammy and us as a family.
