Thank-you Katie for taking the time to share your experiences of Liscarney House, acute day hospital. I am glad that have found the staff interventions and therapeutic groups helpful and interesting, as well as benefiting from the peer support that the forum facilitates and promotes. The acute day hospital activities are carefully planned to allow individuals to feel supported (and empowered) and the different professional backgrounds of the staff (Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Psychology, Nursing and Medicine) bring a wealth of different skills and information to the environment to assist patients in their journey to recovery. I am pleased that you feel more positive and happy in your life and hope you continue to feel this way into the future.
