Care Opinion are set to partner with Wired In the site that empowers people to tackle drug and alcohol use problems. The partnership sees Care Opinion feature on the Wired In website to enable service users nationwide to leave feedback on the recovery service they are receiving.
It is hoped that the tie up and direct reporting of experiences either good or bad will assist in the shaping of future policy in the areas of treatment development.
Care Opinion's Jason Gough believes that the partnership will prove fruitful “Joining in partnership with Wired In feels like a very natural and exciting progression for Care Opinion, with recovery now firmly on the agenda we have the opportunity to give an equal and public voice at every stage of the recovery journey. Recovery needs to be at the heart of treatment and the community, through partnerships we can strengthen the bridges and lower the barriers that exist between recovery groups. Capturing, listening and responding too the emerging narrative of the recovery with a local reference will be the important building block of any truly recovery oriented system.”
Service users are encourage to leave feedback straight away via on online widget on the Wired In website although they can if they wish simply leave this on the Care Opinion website direct.
