In partnership across Scotland with Diabetes UK

Care Opinion Scotland and Diabetes UK Scotland are working together to encourage people living with diabetes in Scotland and their carers to share their experiences, good and bad, of the NHS.  The organisations are keen to know if the NHS in Scotland is getting it right for everyone with diabetes.

The partnership, launched on 13 June, during Diabetes Week 2012 with a press release from Diabetes UK Scotland and the Care Opinion widgets appearing on the Diabetes UK Scotland site

Diabetes UK Scotland is registered with Care Opinion, which means that they will automatically receive alerts to any story shared in Scotland tagged with diabetes.   With registration, the organisation will also have the ability to respond to these stories and fully intend to do so.

Linda McGlynn, National Care Advisor of Diabetes UK Scotland said: “Through this partnership with Care Opinion, people with diabetes will now know that there is a valued feedback mechanism available. We are very hopeful that this feedback will go towards improving diabetes care across the country.”

Stories are already being shared on the site since the launch.  Read more for stories related to diabetes in Scotland

We’re delighted that Diabetes UK Scotland are joining in the conversation and will be working with them on a whole other host of ideas in the pipeline to generate stories which can make a difference to diabetes care.
