"I found them very helpful and supportive"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Crisis Resolution Team

(as a service user),

When I was discharged from the Mental Health Unit I was referred to the Crisis Team to help me with the transition from unit to home.

I find the Team very helpful and supportive. Transition from unit to home wasn't easy and I wouldn't be able to do it without Crisis Team. I felt supported and cared for. I am very grateful that I was referred to the Crisis Team. They adjust my medication as needed which was very handy. The Team is great all the nurses, social care workers and Dr. are fantastic.

I am now being discharged from the crises team and I couldn't be more happy.

Thank you

Dear Humanitieseg38,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback, and we are all very glad that you found the team’s input helpful. We are only too aware that the transition back to the community can be a daunting one after a period of time in hospital, we are pleased that it worked for you and that you felt cared for. We all wish you the very best for your continued recovery.

Kind regards,

Dr E Gethins
