"Response when I had a cry for help"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Crisis Resolution Team

(as a service user),

My life had just got to  the stage, I felt hopeless and not in control, I'd tried so hard to get over a long marriage break up whilst caring for my kids, mother, I forgot myself, life can be so difficult, touching base with this service has helped me start to heal , there is a long road ahead but I appreciate the help and the response to my cry for help.

Dear Mary S,

Thank you for taking the time to post your feedback. You are so right when you say life can be difficult! It is important during those times to remember to look after ourselves, and give ourselves the time to breathe and feel our feelings – it’s not easy when you have a family and lots of responsibilities. We are very glad that your healing journey has begun, and we wish you well going forward – mind yourself

Very best wishes,

Dr E Gethins
