"Person centred care"

I had been struggling with an undiagnosed condition for 4-years before being referred to gynae in 2024. My experience was so incredibly positive. As woman whose health is often misunderstood or overlooked, I felt seen and heard in each appointment.

Each registrar who worked with me was as lovely the one before. They treated me with such humanity and care, and communication was so clear, sensitive and person-centred. This has been my first healthcare experience in a long time where I felt like the people treating me genuinely cared about finding out what was happening for me and listened to what I was saying. They diagnosed me quickly, and organised a prescription that finally worked. It's no exaggeration that from this diagnosis, my quality of life has improved so much.

Also a special comment for the wonderful, friendly nursing staff too who were so bright and lovely. Thank you to all the team :)
