"Grateful for Family therapy"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Family Connections

(as a service user),

Our late teens daughter was having numerous angry outburst which were affecting the whole family; Marina and Mary listened deeply, asked good questions, challenged us and advised; we were seen as a couple, with our daughter and our daughter by herself; we found the service to be very useful and gained a lot of insight into the importance of parenting together; this has benefited all of our family and we are very grateful for this; we would highly recommend this service; appointments were always kept, were punctual and the service is free. Thank you most sincerely to all of the team but especially to Marina and Mary who we were in direct contact with only.

Dear Elinj68,

Many thanks for your recent post acknowledging the value & benefits of family therapy in your own personal context.

We are delighted to hear that change happened during the therapy process that has a positive impact on family relationships and communication.

Wishing you, your daughter and the entire family the very best for the future.

King Regards,

Mary McMorrow & Marina O’Brien,

Systemic Family Psychotherapy Team, AMHS.
