About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Sligo Child and Adolescent Community Mental Health Services

(as a service user),

I have struggled with many things, including sexual assault, difficult relationships, family issues. I went through an extremely difficult time throughout my adolescence.

I had the help of Brenda in CAMHS and she was wonderful. Before her I was placed on antidepressants which worsened my mental state. CAMHS didn't help me until Brenda came along. She helped me by teaching me coping mechanisms and useful skills.
