"I am very grateful as I've seen a big change"

My daughter was being seen in play therapy. I asked for this because she was really struggling with friendships in school and was starting to be isolated there. I also felt she was struggling mentally. We get no help from HSE early interventions so this was something that was suggested to me from the school. 

The play therapy has been a wonderful help to both my daughter and myself. She is learning how to cope and how to control her emotions better. She has been loving coming in and doing the sessions. She has asked me if she could keep doing these. I am very grateful as I've seen a big change in meltdown and outburst. She still has a long way to go but it was nice to get a bit of support and getting suggestions as to what might help us in different situations. Also I have seen a big change in her relationship with her friends. She is trying to make new friends and learning how to share control during games. I honestly would not know where we would be was is not for this support. when my daughter was in what I would call a crisis, the play therapist was quick to get back to me and accommodated us very quickly. So I am very thankful for this program.
