"No empathy shown"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services

(as a service user),

I told an female clinician about how I was raped years ago. She showed zero empathy even when I said I was covered in bruises. All she cared about was that men could be libelled, when I said a female Garda told me I could warn other women about a particular man. I didn't want to take a case to court because I know how few succeed. The clinician didn't care about the Garda saying I could warn people... I feel like all she cared about was the man!

Very sad in this day and age. You would expect this maybe from men but not a woman!
