Dear Sambafe95,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience of attending Liscarney House, Acute Day Hospital, where you are receiving help with better understanding and managing the anxiety you feel. I am happy to hear that all the staff (especially Francis and Ellen) have helped you feel safe and are assisting you develop skills and strategies that allow you to feel more confident in managing stress and anxiety.

The relaxation techniques experienced in the anxiety management group are powerful tools that can help you feel more in control of your responses to anxiety and, of course, are useable at home to ease feelings of discomfort and anxiety when they emerge. Using these regularly and every day (if you feel anxious or not) can help you feel more relaxed and confident in managing the symptoms of anxiety should they return.

I hope you continue to use these skills into the future and wish you every success in your recovery journey.

Best wishes,

Kevin
