About: Sligo Leitrim Adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Sligo Adult Community Mental Health Services

(as a service user),

I entered the Adult Mental Health Unit at Sligo University Hospital very unwell and had nothing in terms of a life. The care I have received at the mental hospital from Dr. O’Neill was amazing, he really listened to my problems and got me on the right medication. When I was in the mental hospital I enrolled in EIP and the care I have received after leaving the mental hospital from Tara was profound. I am back to living a fulfilling life, I went back into education and I even got my first flying lesson. The care I have received has changed my life forever and I am utterly grateful for everyone involved. My life is back to normal.
