"The eating disorder clinic has saved my life"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Sligo Adult Community Mental Health Services

(as the patient),

I cannot thank Mary & Edel enough. I suffered for years from an eating disorder which I kept secret out of shame and honestly thought would be my cross to bear forever.

Mary & Edel helped me change my relationship with food and with myself.

The work they do is invaluable and saves many lives including mine. I will be forever grateful to them.

Your gratitude underscores the significant role that the Sligo Leitrim Eating Disorder Service (SLEDS) can play in aiding adults facing eating disorders. On behalf of Mary, Edel, and our entire team, we express our sincere thanks for entrusting them with your journey.
