"Welcomed at Liscarney House"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services / Sligo Leitrim Psychiatry of Later Life

(as a service user),

I can truly say that my need of psychiatric services was a very positive experience. I was reassessed and supported, never rushed and that I mattered all the way through. I could ring them anytime outside an appointment and if I was unable to attend an appointment, they rany me. Now that I am signed off I can still ring them if I should need to.

They did a blood test which diagnosed my physical illness which was the beginning of my recovery both physically and mentally.

I also was given the opportunity to do the full decider skills therapy which I can refer to always. the staff that answered the door always made me feel welcome and there were many offers of a cup of tea. I dont think they could have anything better.

I felt at ease and enjoyed going to the sessions. thank you for all you do.

Your reply is very helpful. I don't think I would be alive today only for liscarney house.

They were so helpful and did not let me give up even when I wanted to, I could contact them out side appointment time.

They also let me do the direct skills therapy program which will stand by me for life.

I am grateful for everything.
