"EIP Health Screening Sligo"

As part of my Early Intervention Psychosis programme, which has been exceptionally helpful to myself and my family, I had the opportunity to have a full health screening with the team. This was really useful and reassuring as I’ve had some small effects from my medication and was able to address my concerns with the doctor and to get my bloods taken for a check up. It was also focusing on my health from all perspectives and even encouraged me to be more active to help my mental and physical health. Due to family history the doctor immediately ordered that I get an ECG to make sure everything was ok and I had an appointment set up with my own GP within a couple of weeks and was seamlessly set up between the EIP service and my own GP. Very helpful addition to the programme and helps reassure us about my overall health.
