(as a service user),

I have been involved with the mental health service for a number of years I feel they were of little use when I needed them most I felt I was not being listened to I feel I have had to come through my depression on my own l feel I was being talked down to. I feel those so called professionals are so detached from their patients I am so very dissatisfied service user.

Dear John,

I am responding to your story as I help to organise the Care Opinion System for the Mental Health Service. I am sorry that we are only responding to you now. Part of the reason for the delay is that we were not quite sure who would be best placed in the service to respond to your comments.
