"Counselling helped"

About: Sligo/Leitrim Health Services Sligo/Leitrim Mental Health Services

(as a service user),

I was referred for six weeks counselling and I found it really helped. It was great to be able to talk and no one judging me. I found myself feeling much better and I was feeling a sense of relief getting stuff of my chest. The counselling session was one hour a week for six weeks but I would have liked more time.

Dear leojr535,

Thank you for posting your comments about the counselling and I am glad that it helped. I understand that you would like to have attended further sessions - it sounds as though it was a type of short-term counselling you went to. If you would like to let me know a little more about who or where you attended, I might be able to direct your comments to that department. Thanks again for posting your feedback as it is very useful for us to know more about what works for people and what they need.

Kind Regards,

Martin Jones
