"M.E/Myalgic Encephalitis"

This covers my GP practise and a variety of hospital appointments with Endocrinology, Neurology and Rheumatology.There has been general disbelief and a total lack of knowledge about M.E.

One Consultant asked me what it was. Another changed the subject.

M.E is one of those illness where research is finding out more information and where the old ideas for treatment, namely G.E.T and C.B.T have been found to be at the least, ineffective and at the most harmful.
