At the start of the Pandemic all appointments were switched to phone appointments. This was completely understandable and out of everyone's control. Recently my mental health has been at its lowest and I desperately needed help and thought it would be helpful if I received a face to face appointment but I was refused numerous times. I felt unwanted by the services. At this point it is getting frustrating to still be told this. Things are starting to open back up and the vaccination programme is well underway but we are still being told that appointments with the Psyychiatrist will be over the phone and there are no plans to change this. I just don't see where the risk is at this point, these appointments should be eased back. These appointments save people's life but feels like professionals are forgetting their duty of care.
