"Help received for depression and anxiety"

(as a service user),

Approx 3 weeks ago I attended the lodge in Carrick on Shannon. I had become increasingly low in mood and was having episodes of extreme anxiety.   I attended on a Friday morning and was seen by a nurse and doctor within 3 hours. The help I received was amazing and continues to be.

Thank you for your kind words in relation to your experience of being seen by both a nurse and doctor in Summerhill Lodge Mental Health Care Centre in Carrick-on-Shannon. I will pass your comments on to the staff involved. We provide a number of services to ensure people are seen as soon as possible which includes a 7 day nurse led service Monday to Sunday, Out Patient Clinics, visiting people in their own home,telephone contact etc. It is important to us that people are supported on their road to recovery.

I wish you well on your road to recovery and thank you again for your kind words.
