Dear carinaym67, thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts and experiences around the care you recieved whilst attending the acute day hospital in Liscarney house. I am glad you found the process helpful to your specific needs. Anxiety attacks can be extremely disabling and frightening and learning about anxiety, and learning the skills to better manage anxiety help give us confidence around our own ability to cope with the symptoms of anxiety when they arise. The acute day hospital environment not only allows this learning to take place but provides the opportunity for individuals to gain support and expertise from others (peers) experiencing anxiety symptoms. The day hospital staff facilitate this learning in both individual and group settings. I hope you continue to benefit from your attendance at Liscarney House and wish you the best in your recovery journey. Best wishes, Kevin.
