"The treatment that a close relative received in unit 5 B in Limerick University Hospital."

A close relative of mine was recently treated in the unit. The hospital stay lasted almost 8 weeks and was very traumatic for all the family. Everybody from the consultant to the nurses to the reception staff were fantastic. Visitors were made welcome and the staff always had time to take us aside and talk to us and reassure us, we were so relieved that our family member was in safe hands and being cared for by people who appeared genuine and happy in their work. Their professionalism was admirable and we as a family feel very grateful to everybody for their input into the care of our relative. Put simply, we can never repay their kindness and dedication. I hope to return to the unit in the near future to thank the staff in person and to offer a donation. Many thanks to all involved.
