The environment makes a difference, it either frustrates you- either makes you feel worse, more depressed or it can help you feel better.

The outpatient clinic based in Ballyshannon is depressing. The room was like a cell. It needs more comfortable chairs for a friendlier environment. Different colour paint would make it less institutionalised looking.

Despite the environment I felt I was given time and listened to.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us to let us know about the outpatient clinic environment in Ballyshannon. I will work with the property manager for that area and with members of your community mental health team to see how the room could be made more friendly and welcoming.
