(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I was referred by my very helpful GP to Psychiatric Nurse in the Rock Health Centre in ballymote. I was so blessed to be cared for by Joan. She treated me with such gentleness in such a professional manner.   She is so great at her job.  It was good that I could be looked after locally but not publicly. I was treated with respect and learned skills for coping with depression. I felt like I wasnt alone in the world of depression.

I meet with service users and sometimes with their families. I assess psychological problems and provide psychological interventions in an effort to help service users overcome their difficulties.
