(as a service user),

Liscarney House is a welcoming helpful environment, You are always met by a member of staff and offered a cup of Tea/Coffee.

When I go to Liscarney House I feel as if im not alone. There is always someone to talk to either be it the staff, or some other Service Users.

I look forward to coming in each day as the day is full of activities and Group Discussions, but, if you dont want to take part you dont need to.

It is great to come and get a lovely lunch each day, great to talk with others during lunch feel your not alone. I would like to do more activities that get the brain working

Ive had no negative/ bad experiences here, all the staff are great and friendly. I have learned a lot about myself since attending Day Hospital

Dear Sally123, thank you so much for sharing your personal experiences about your attendance at Liscarney House. The acute day hospital aims to provide a comfortable, therapeutic environment which allows individuals to feel supported and understood at a time when they feel most vunerable. Sharing with peers is very valuable and allows patients to support each other, to share coping strategies and other helpful information and to facilitate social re-engagement. The acute day hospital programme has been developed over time to support and facilitate a return to well health and all the staff are keen to recieve feedback so that they can continue to improve the service they provide.

Thanks again for sharing your experiences with us and I wish you well in your recovery journey.
