"Vast improvement is Mental Health Services in the Last few years"

(as the patient),

I have been a Patient of Sligo Mental Health Services for over 10 years. I have noticed that the service is improving as regards to Community based care. More treatment options have been made available to me personally and I am really happy that overall more and more treatment options for patients are been made available. The waiting list for some talk therapies still can be to long of a wait but I feel Sligo Mental Health Services are doing there best. Its also good to see that Psychologists are part of the Team. I would like to sincerely thank Dr O'Neill and all the members of the team. I am also very fortunate to have an amazing CPN (Ger Roache. So thanks to all concerned.

Thank you very much for your feedback regarding the Sligo community Mental Health Service. There has been a development of the community multidisciplinary mental health services in Sligo over the past 2 to 3 years, with the aim of providing a greater range of services to patients within their own communities.

We are aiming to provide patients with individual care plans and to respond as quickly as we can to their individual needs. Thanks again for your feed back, it is important for the service to receive feedback to allow us to continually improve our services. I will pass on your positive comments to our Community Mental Health Nurse Ger.
