Having heard horror stories in the media about delays in mental health services, I have been very surprised by my very positive experience. I was referred to Mental Health Services by my GP and I received an appointment to see a mental health nurse quite quickly. I was made to feel very welcome and put at ease. I was then referred to a psychiatrist within the service and also for CBT. I am still under the care of the services here in Sligo and have found the service excellent.
