We have attended the Rock Day Centre in Ballymote, Sligo for years. It was a major focal point of our lives and we relied heavily on the service that was provided. It was the only contact with our friends and other service users. We have no family of our own and mimimal contact with both families.

The Rock centre’s nursing staff and daily meals were very important to us. The experienced nurses had contact with us. Who is going to do that now for more than 5 minutes every two weeks? If we become ill, who will be our support service now? In the past, the Rock Day service has been of excellent help. We feel very sad that we will lose contact with other people and become isolated.
